I know that TinyURL has been around for what seems like forever. However, many students are not aware of it and its’ potential.

If you have created a website project for school using free webspace, chances are your domain name is pretty long (eg: www.somefreewebhostingservice.com/abunchofnumbers/studentsname).

TinyURL will provide you with a much shorter URL that redirects to the monster link you have (eg: www.tinyurl.com/studentsname).
