Education 2.0

I’ve been stumbling upon some new cool technology resources that can be used in the classroom and thought I would share a few:

1. Edmondo
Edmodo provides a way for teachers and students to share notes, links, and files. Teachers have the ability to send alerts, events, and assignments to students. Edmodo also has a public component which allows teachers to post any privately shared item to a public timeline and RSS feed.

2. Glogster
Mix graphics, photos, videos, music and text into slick Glogs (like posters) and share them with friends.

3. Sliderocket
SlideRocket was founded with the vision of building a better presentation experience, one that provides for every part of the presentation lifecycle and helps you make great presentations.

4. Voki
Voki enables users to express themselves on the web in their own voice using a talking character. You can customize your Voki to look like you or take on the identity of lots of other types of characters… animals, monsters, anime etc. Your Voki can speak with your own voice which is added via microphone, upload, or phone.

I think that your Board is terribly lucky to have you Mr. Aspinall as a teacher in their system. Great tool, very interesting content and easy to manipulate the website….GREAT JOB as usual!

Miss you friend…more than you will ever know!
